In this episode, I had the opportunity to talk with Loren Peterson from Hyperion Ranch. Loren's path to the homesteading lifestyle mirrors many of us that started from a single backyard-raised planter. Today, he has an 80-acre place in Western Washington where he has taken the opportunity to build upon his dreams. We recorded this episode sitting under a large shade tree, eating some good food, and drinking some tea. The wind and clinking of the ice cubes set the stage for the amazing conversation focused on Loren's journey. BTW, Loren just added some pigs to his property and is going to be experimenting with some silvopasture. I just ordered half of one of his first attempts at this new venture.
